Now, this may seem like a lot, but it really isn’t. After I applied all of this, it didn’t feel cakey or heavy at all. I hope you all enjoy and have a wonderful prom! I will post the video tutorial as soon as I can :)

*I did this makeup look for my best friend when she went to our local symphony orchestra with her boyfriend and his parents and grandparents. It’s a relatively formal occasion, so she had me do her makeup, but more subtle than this. In my tutorial, I also did a softer option for the lips with the Maybelline Color Whisper. It looks super pretty!

A day out with my mom and sister, and a surprise thrifting venture with my BFF! :D my ootd and fotd!
I tried out the Maybelline BB Cream today. It’s pretty great, I think next time I’ll use it without putting a moisturizer on first. I have combination/oily skin - an easily oily T zone. It did get a little shiny on my forehead and A LITTLE on my nose, but my chin was ok. And that was after 8 hours! So either a blotting paper, or a mattefying powder touch up and it should be a-ok! :)

Vampy Lips

even though it’s spring, there’s still snow outside my house and it’s so white and bright all the time - it’s driving me bonkers. I love my vampy lip colours, and I FINALLY found the Wet’n’Wild lipstick in “Vamp it Up”!!! I’ve wanted it so long, and FINALLY FOUND IT!! YAY!

and with the red, that’s just a Revlon creme finish in “Love that Red” with a NYX lip pencil underneath in the shade “Dark Red”. it’s a lovely blood red colour when mixed together :)

How the hell do you people do it?

Ok, so I’m 19, going to be 20 this summer, and I live in Alaska. In all my years I’ve only been out of state twice, once at 4 to Chicago and then this past January to Mesa. I want to move out of Alaska. I think that’s one of the hardest things to do, is get out of this state. Once you’re here you either don’t want to leave, or can’t. Or you’re like me and want to, but you’ve never been anywhere so you don’t know where to go.
I seriously just don’t know! “What I want to be when I grow up” is an actress, but pfft! like that’s possible. I can’t sing so New York and Broadway are out. I also like makeup, but I hear the beauty industry is rough. I am also REALLY fed up with college at this point, and am taking time off- if not for good. I also like writing, but I’ve never taken an English class outside of high school. I used to edit my classmates papers before they’d hand them in so there would be little to no corrections from the teachers.
At first I planned on going to Los Angeles but the people there (to me) seem crazy. Then I thought “maybe Portland” but that plan sorta fell through. Then I was thinking Flagsaff, but there aren’t any acting opportunities out there like there would be in California or Oregon. My friend suggested San Francisco, but the hills freak me out (stupid, I know!)
I just don’t know where to go and what to do. I used to have my 10 Year Plan/Goal all set up, but they went down the drain really fast once I started college. *sigh* any suggestions??
